In this collection you'll find tips on using your iPad when traveling, getting AirPlay to work with apps on the iPad, resetting your Apple ID and using GarageBand on the iPad to make a podcast So I was rather pleased to see the return of Alchemy to iOS with GarageBand 2.2, although it's only available if you have an iPhone 6 or later, iPad Pro. Afterwards, it asks me to log in to my AppleID again, but leaves me at the same 'Add more lessons to GarageBand' dialog. If I go to the App Store, there's an old version of GarageBand (6.0.5), but nothing otherwise that I can see. If I go back to the Lesson Store again, I can get to the same purchase dialog, but it won't ask for my AppleID. Aug 13, 2012 Where are piano lessons on GarageBand? They are on my MacBook and my nephew loved it and we assumed that it was all part of Garageband but now that I have downloaded GarageBand on my nephew's iPad, the lessons don't show up. Many thanks for any insights or where to find these tutorials with 'Tim'.
So my HD management pane indicates that the aforementioned are using almost 3 gb but I've deleted the application as well as the associated folder in Application Support within Library. About The Lesson
This lesson is a free sample from my new online course and collection of lesson plans designed especially for the iPad version of GarageBand. It’s a quick project which works well as a “getting to know you” activity at the beginning of the school year, but it could also work at any other time too.
In the lesson – which is titled “What’s In A Name?” – students will:
- Record their spoken name with the GarageBand Sampler
- Record an 8-bar rhythm with their name sample
- Add a drum part using the Smart Drums or one of the other drum creation options
- Add a bass loop from the loop library
You will find two videos below:
- The first is a teacher walk-through video which provides some tips and helpful information about running this lesson
- The second video is a one that you can show your students in class. They will see my GarageBand screen and hear me talking them through each part of the lesson, step-by-step
In addition to the videos, there is a free downloadable copy of the written lesson plan which accompanies the videos and is yours to keep.
